Try Chips (Try Team LLC) is proud to offer a new program to our TRYBE – TRY Health and Fitness Coaching!

Tim and Jerry started as couch potatoes but then got up and started to TRY – taking the journey from unhealthy and in danger of escalating health issues.  But as a TEAM we helped each other to TRY, starting with better healthy eating habits and moving our feet away from the couch.  Try Team wants to help you as well.  We are excited that Tim’s daughter Amanda has dedicated her life to helping others TRY just like us!   Check out her programs – we hope you will join us in the TRY!

About Try Team Health and Fitness Coaching:
Amanda practices a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that she looks at how all areas of your life are connected. As you work together, you will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

Together you’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as: achieving a new adventure, finding your happy weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. Together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food, fitness, and/or lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health. She will work with you to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.

By making small but steady changes together, you can expect to create lasting results. If you are motivated to TRY, she is here to support your goals. Through telephone and email contact, Amanda helps you create a plan, sets goals, and encourages you to meet them.

The Try Team Encouragement Program will include:

  • 2- one hour phone sessions per month
  • Unlimited Email support between sessions (within 48 hours)
  • Motivational support
  • Recipes that are healthy and simple to prepare
  • Articles, tips, and goal-directed exercises to help you build the groundwork, and gain momentum towards your unique goals.

About the Try Team Health and Fitness Coach:

Amanda Schlitzer joined the TRYBE in its ground breaking years. After years of playing organized sports, the cautious homebody anxiously set off on a journey with friends and family who rode their bicycles across the country.  Stepping out of her comfort zone and into a new life perspective she decided at that point she wanted to help others TRY to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.

She graduated from Chestnut Hill College with her BA in Psychology. She continued on and became certified in Fitness Training from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Amanda’s passions include fitness, good food, and the mind/body connection. Amanda is a counselor and exercise group instructor. Her focus is to keep a balance between bringing the fun back to exercise and
proper fueling to maintain a healthy body and mind. When Amanda is not counseling or running groups, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, biking, cooking, trying new restaurants, and loving her dog Luna.

Individual Sessions: 30 min- $25    1 hour- $45

Monthly Try Team Encouragement Coach Program- $90/ month
